Elijah Wald: Musician — He has as Dave Van Ronk Said a classical folk music education—
Having read “Bound for Glory” and heard Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly when he was 8 and 9 years old—before he had heard Dylan.

A flat picker and finger stylist he has an acclaimed instructional video on playing Joseph Spence. Elijah teaches at blues camps demoing Robert Johnson and Dave Van Ronk. His album “Street Corner Cowboys” features songs by Woody Guthrie, Towns Van Zandt, Blind Lemon Jefferson, traditional material and many others.
